Ships

The ships in PROTIDE can be managed through the Ships module. This module has the following functionalities:

• Add a new ship.
• Update an existing ship.
• Duplicate an existing ship with the possibility to adjust one or more values.
• Add a new transit. Select the relevant ship and check the properties of the ship. Add a new ship if necessary or correct the existing data. Enter the transit-specific data.

Additionally, a bulk upload to the ships table is possible through a text or .csv file.

A ship contains a status. This status can be Preferred, Active and Inactive. These states are shown in the user interface with a Star, Checkmark and Cross respectively. By default, Inactive ships are hidden.
